Additionally, it provides precision polishing and metrology systems tailored for advanced optical applications, supported by magneto-rheological polishing fluids, consumables, spare parts, and dedicated optical polishing and customer support services. A unique aspect of this segment is its involvement in the wood treatment industry. Established in 1999, the company initially operated as Cabot Microelectronics Corporation before rebranding to CMC Materials, Inc. in October 2020.
