Energy Recovery, Inc. (the Company , Energy Recovery , we , our and us ) designs and manufactures world-class energy-saving technology for critical infrastructure that communities rely on every day, driving a more resilient and sustainable future. Grounded in more than 30 years of leadership in the desalination industry, today we use our proprietary pressure exchanger technology to help customers in multiple industries improve their operations and lower their emissions. We have been incorporated in the state of Delaware since 2001. Our corporate headquarters, principal research and development ( R&D ), and manufacturing facility is located in San Leandro, California. In addition, we have manufacturing and warehouse space in Tracy, California. W e have a global direct sales team and on-site technical support staff to service customers in the United States of America (the U.S. ) , Europe, North, South and Latin America, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and Asia. On February 25, 2026 , we decided to wind down operations of the CO 2 retail grocery business within our Emerging Technologies segment due to a fundamental change in the outlook of the business. See Note 13 , Subsequent Events , of the Notes for further discussion regarding the wind down.
