We are a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of seralutinib for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension, or PH, including pulmonary arterial hypertension, or PAH, and PH 3 Table of Contents associated with interstitial lung disease, or PH-ILD. Our goal is to be an industry leader in, and to enhance the lives of patients living with, PH. Our Team Our founders and management team have held senior positions at leading biopharmaceutical companies and possess substantial experience and expertise across the spectrum of drug development and commercialization. Faheem Hasnain is our Co-Founder and has served as our Chief Executive Officer since November 2020 and as our Chairman since our inception. Mr. Hasnain also served as our Chief Executive Officer from our inception through July 2018 and our Executive Chairman from July 2018 through June 2019. Prior to co-founding Gossamer Bio, Mr. Hasnain served as President, CEO and as a Director of Receptos, Inc. from November 2010 to August 2015.
