We have developed RTGel reverse-thermal hydrogel, a proprietary sustained release, hydrogel-based technology that has the potential to improve therapeutic profiles of existing drugs. Our technology is designed to enable longer exposure of urinary tract tissue to medications, making local therapy a potentially more effective treatment option. Our approved products Jelmyto (mitomycin) for pyelocalyceal solution and Zusduri (mitomycin) for intravesical solution are designed to ablate tumors by non-surgical means and to treat several forms of non-muscle invasive urothelial cancer, including low-grade upper tract urothelial cancer ( low-grade UTUC ) and recurrent low-grade intermediate risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer ( low-grade intermediate risk NMIBC ), respectively. In addition, our immuno-uro-oncology pipeline includes UGN-501 (formerly known as ICVB-1042), a next-generation investigational oncolytic virus. RTGel : Our Reverse Thermal Hydrogel Technology RTGel is a novel proprietary polymeric biocompatible, reverse thermal gelation hydrogel technology, which, unlike the general characteristics of most forms of matter, is liquid at lower temperatures and converts into gel form when warmed to body temperature.
